RushTrain

This is my first game.

Rails break. Platforms crumble.

Containers swing from cranes, steel beams drop from the sky.

Jump, dash, smash your way through.

The longer you survive, the faster it gets.

Reach 4,000 points and nothing can stop you for a while.

Every run leaves you coins. Add cars, raise your HP,

and pick one of seven trains that fits how you play.

FEATURES

      Freight Train — tough, one extra HP per car

      Maglev — an extra air jump, half the HP

      Ghost Train — turns invincible on its own now and then

      Rail Cannon — clears everything ahead every 10 seconds

CONTROLS

  SPACE  or  UP      Jump — press again in mid-air, hold to jump higher

  SHIFT              Hold, then release to dash — breaks obstacles and walls

  ESC                Pause

  Every menu works with the mouse as well.

HOW TO RUN

  1. Download RushTrain.zip and unzip it

  2. Run RushTrain.exe

  No installation needed. You do not need Python.

  Runs on Windows 10 or later.

  Your coins and records are saved to:

      %APPDATA%\RushTrain\

  Deleting the game does not remove them. To erase everything,

  delete that folder, or use  Options -> Erase Everything  in game.

ABOUT ANTIVIRUS WARNINGS

  Some antivirus programs may flag this file as suspicious.

  It is built with PyInstaller, which packs a Python game into a single

  executable. This is a well-known cause of false positives and does not

  mean anything is wrong with the file.

  The game never connects to the internet and touches nothing outside

  its own save folder. If you would rather check for yourself, upload it

  to VirusTotal and compare what several scanners say.

The firewall will likely flag it as malicious software. However, I lack the skills to create a virus and the money to buy one; nor do I have the nerve or the funds to deal with the consequences of getting caught using one. You can download it without worry.
